Your information

We use your account name and email to manage space submissions and venue requests. Venue descriptions and uploaded space photos are intended for public display after review. Do not upload identity documents, permits, personal photos or other sensitive information here.

Your full venue address stays out of the public directory. Owners and creators involved in a request, and The Social Yards review team, can see the request details and relevant contact information in their event desk. Signing in uses ChatGPT’s account service.

Google Analytics measures website visits and interactions. We do not intentionally send your form answers, email address or uploaded photos to Analytics. Google and your browser may use cookies for analytics and sign-in.

Requests, rates & payments

Submitting a request does not create a paid or confirmed booking. An owner’s acceptance records interest in the requested session and holds it in this directory. Both parties must agree on event requirements, insurance, credentials, access, cleanup, cancellation and any final charges before an event session is confirmed. Payments are currently closed; do not send money through this website.

Published block rates are supplied by owners. Taxes, deposits, cleaning and other charges, if applicable, must be disclosed and agreed before confirmation. The planned platform fee is 0.33% of the partner venue rental rate, included in the owner-set listed price and retained from the payout when platform payments launch. No customer platform surcharge is added. The fee is calculated on each provider’s own price and rounded to the nearest cent. Booking three services does not triple the percentage of the combined total. No platform fee is collected now. Ticket and bar sales are not processed by this marketplace.

The original Twentynine Palms yard’s ticketing model is separate from partner venue rental commissions. All applicable charges must be disclosed before confirmation; no fees are collected now.

Guest event planning

The event planner does not require an account. A private, signed, HTTP-only browser cookie grants access only to plans created with that cookie for up to 30 days. Use the same browser and device to return; clearing cookies removes access. Entered contact emails are not verified, and knowing an email or plan reference does not grant access. Provider dashboards and private documents retain their existing authentication. An anonymous connection limit uses a keyed hash of the connection address rather than storing the address itself.

Shared event plans

The shared planner runs on The Social Yards. After the creator authorizes sending requests, the selected venue owner, chef and bartender receive the event details, address and host contact email through the three sites. Provider responses and chef quotes return privately to the creator’s event plan. No event details are sent to unselected providers. This is request coordination; payments remain closed.

Minimum listing rates

Owners set rates at or above $250 weekdays and $250 weekends. The original Twentynine Palms operating model remains separate; its disclosed ticket or food sales arrangements are unchanged. Existing requests keep their recorded prices and terms.

Listing review

Owners must have authority to offer their space and supply accurate information. A reviewed listing has passed a content review; it is not a guarantee of licensing, safety, insurance, suitability or legal permission for any specific use. Owners and creators must establish those requirements with one another before hosting.

Managing your details
